The Podiatry Institute (PI) is an internationally recognized, non-profit educational foundation committed to advancing the profession through continuing medical education, collaborative learning, and practical surgical training.
Our faculty is known for accessibility, camaraderie, and a passion for teaching. We focus not on flash, but on fundamentals — the surgical techniques, clinical principles, and best practices that improve patient outcomes every day.

Founded in 1978 by Dr. E Dalton McGlamry, a pioneer in modern podiatric education, The Podiatry Institute was built on a commitment to surgical fundamentals, mentorship, and collaboration. Dr. McGlamry’s vision shaped a culture where learning is shared openly, faculty remain accessible, and clinical excellence is always the priority.

More than four decades later, his foundational principles continue to guide our work. Today, we remain dedicated to supporting podiatrists at every stage of their careers and helping them deliver exceptional patient care around the world.
